Step 1. Open the Whatsapp Messenger App on your smartphone.
Step 2. Tap on the Settings button to open Whatsapp Settings.
Step 3. TAp on the ‘Account‘ option in the Settings window.
Step 4. Tap on the ‘Privacy‘ option in account settings.
Step 5. Tap on the ‘Screen lock‘ option from the Privacy options.
Step 6. Toggle ON the lock option using either Face ID on iOS or the Fingerprint reader on Android.
Your Whatsapp Messenger app will now be locked. This way, if your device is stolen or misplaced and someone else tries to open your Whatsapp Messenger app. They will only be able to do so using the Unlock feature that you have selected.
