When it comes to browsing online, one of the most useful features that browsers have is ‘Bookmarks’. Bookmarking a website or a specific web page makes it easy to re-visit the same at a later date. This is especially useful when we come across a site that has the information we are looking for. Bookmarking the web page ensures that even if we need the same page 4 months later, it is still just a click away.
The Chrome browser on Android allows you to even segregate your bookmarks through bookmark folders. This way, you can save all sports-related bookmarks in one page, and maybe all the tech-based bookmarks in their own folder. The possibilities are endless.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a bookmark folder in Chrome on Android.
Step 1. Open the ‘Chrome‘ browser on your Android smartphone.
Step 2. Open the website or webpage that you want to bookmark.
Step 3. Tap on the ‘three-dot‘ icon at the top right-hand side.
Step 4. Tap on the ‘star‘ button from the menu.
Step 5. Now, in the Edit Bookmarks menu, tap on the folder option.
Step 6. Tap on the ‘New Folder‘ option from the menu.
Step 7. Enter a name for the folder in the text entry field.
Step 8. Tap on the ‘Tick‘ button on the top right to confirm the creation.
The desired webpage or website will now be saved in the newly created folder in your Bookmarks collection. If you do not have the Chrome browser on your Android smartphone, you can download it from the link given below.
