Package

Meaning – The term package, refers to a collection of attributes, notifications, operations, or behaviors that are treated as a single module in the specification of a managed object class. Packages can be mandatory or conditional when referenced in a definition of a managed object class.

In recent years IBM has offered employees a series of early retirement and similar buyout programs intended to voluntarily reduce headcount (see).

A package is also referred to as a namespace that organizes a set of related classes and interfaces. Conceptually you can think of packages as being similar to different folders on your computer.

Example of usage “With hardware, a package is a single container containing one or more items that help make up the overall package. A processor package is the overall computer processor, which contains all the necessary parts that allow it to work on your computer.”
