Meaning – The term hung terminal refers to the terminal to which a session is disrupted and that cannot send or receive commands. Usually, networks hang when the user executes certain commands that can trigger an unknown bug or glitch that remains inactive on a normal basis and responds to certain commands that are entered by the user.
In case there is a hung terminal, the usual solution is to restart the network connection to see if it starts responding. However, if the network does not respond even after the reboot, then the only solution is to contact an expert for assistance.
