Meaning – The term home page, refers to the web page that shows up the first time you open a website, or just open a website in general.
It is also known as the landing page of the website, as it is the web page that appears first, every time you visit the website of your choice.
A home page is usually designed to catch the attention of the visitors and retain them on the website for as long as possible. It generally contains the name of the company, the different sections within the website, and contact details, if any.
