Meaning – The term forum, refers to the online platform where people can come together and discuss topics of interest. Forums offer a safe space for people to voice their opinions on topics that interest them, ask doubts, get clarifications and answers. Many product-based companies today, have dedicated forums for their products wherein consumers can communicate with each other as well as moderators from the company who can offer verified answers and clarifications regarding the products and services that the company offers.
Forums can be created by user groups where they can invite people from popular companies to interact with the consumers and answer the most anticipated questions that the users may have about their favorite products.
Example of usage – “He had some very important clarifications that he needed about the gaming console he had just purchased. ON contacting the dealer, he was instructed to visit the consumer forums where he would get all the answers that he needed.”
