Meaning – The term font, refers to the collection of characters that share a particular style. Fonts allow you to present the text in your documents, in a presentable and attractive fashion. There are many different fonts available on the internet, while there is also a preset collection of fonts loaded into the operating system by default.
Installing fonts on a computer is very simple and they also occupy very little storage space on the computer memory, making it easy to install and hold more than a thousand different fonts, without causing a dent in storage.
Some fonts are designed to be simple and easy to read, while others are designed to add a unique style to the text.
Example of usage – “The two most basic categories of fonts are “serif” and “sans-serif.” Small extensions on the edges of characters, such as a horizontal line on the bottom of a capital “T,” are called serifs.”
