Exabyte

Meaning – The unit exabyte (EB) is known to be the extended unit of the standard unit of measurement of computer storage (bytes), and mathematically corresponds to 10 ^ 18 bytes.

From the above value, it is clear that the value of an exabyte is very large, and as such, it is not used to define the capacity of data storage devices. Even the storage capacity of the largest cloud storage centers is measured in petabytes, which is a fraction of one exabyte. Instead, exabytes are used to measure the sum of multiple storage networks or the amount of data transferred over the Internet in a certain amount of time.

Example of usage“The internet handles exabytes of data every year. That just shows how vast and frankly limitless the web really is.”
