Meaning – The word connectivity, refers to the capability of a system or device to be attached to other systems or devices without modification. Devices today have a host of connectivity options, that allow users to connect a wide array of peripheral devices that can increase the productivity of the main computer system.
Connectivity is also taken to mean the network connectivity of devices. With the 5G technology now in real testing, many devices today, feature 5G connectivity along with the existing 2G, 3G and 4G protocols.
Organisations who are in the business of making computer systems or other electronic devices, have to spend considerable time deciding on the connectivity package depending on the capability of the components that are being used.
