Collaborative Management

Meaning – The method of management used to plan, coordinate, control, and monitor distributed and complex projects, is known as collaborative management. This style of management involves the collaboration of people across different disciplines, organisations, departments or even nations, to master growing complexities in the project, with relative ease.

All the members of this collaboration have access to the data pertaining to the project, and have the authority to add, delete and modify this data in order to keep the project going.

Many organisations employ collaborative management as it ensures the right people doing the right part of the job in order to increase productivity and also encourage growth of the employees in the collaboration.

Example of usage“The developer learnt a lot about the design aspects of the software, due to the collaboration he did with the UI designer.”
