Meaning – The phrase ‘close of business’, refers tot the end of business day for an organisation or individual business. Today, every kind of institution or organisation operates on a strict time based schedule throughout the day, and the time at which the organisation ceases operations for the day, is termed as the close of business.
Once an organisation reaches its close of business for the day, any communications or queries sent to the organisations are only processed the next working day. This ensures a pattern of discipline in the organisation, and also allows the employees to be stress free once they are done for the day.
