Meaning – The phrase ‘cast in concrete’ refers to the condition where a decision or task has been finalised, with no chance for a back track or cancellation.

In an organisations, there are situations where the manager is at a crossroads and when he/she makes up their mind on a particular option, they say that their decision has been cast in concrete, which means that their decision is final and there will not be any situation where they will change their mind.

This phrase also applies in other life situations where we have to make a decision that is pivotal to the future and has the potential to cause great change in our lives and potentially, of those around us.
