All points addressable

Meaning – The term ‘All Points Addressable’ is used in the world of computer graphics, and pertains to the ability to display or not to display, the picture elements on the display surface. Designers and developers usually call this phrase ‘APA’ and the term is also used to talk about an array of items (Bits, Pixels, Cells, etc) that can be individually manipulated.

You can use all-points addressable (APA) printing to mix various type sizes, styles, images, and electronic forms on a single page. All-points addressability lets PSF print different data at the same place on the page.
